No. A will does not need stamp paper in India. It must be signed by you and two witnesses.

Is registration compulsory?

No, registration is optional. A registered will is harder to challenge, so many people register it at the sub-registrar's office.

Can witnesses be family members?

They can be, but witnesses should not be people who receive property under the will.

Can I change it later?

Yes. Make a codicil for small changes, or write a new will that cancels the old one.
